One helluva day. The blasts at the J.W. Marriott and Ritz-Carlton hotels, located side-by-side in an upscale business district in the capital, blew out windows and scattered debris and glass across the street, kicking up a thick plume of smoke. OMG. I was so trembled this morning watching the scene on TV. Wheeew.
Crazy persons doing crazy things to destroy our country. What a goddamn scenario. May God have mercy on their soul…
Manchester United football team canceled a planned visit to Indonesia. The team had been scheduled to stay at the Ritz on Saturday and Sunday nights for a friendly match against the Indonesian All Stars. Damn.
From this tragic moment, I’ve learnt that no one knows what the future holds. Hopefully, only good things are in store for you and me. But realistically, bad things will happen too. Even if you don’t consider yourself a cautious person, you take little steps every day to improve the odds that good things will happen and guard against the possibility of bad things happening.
Life insurance won’t guarantee you’ll never face a tragic situation, just as wearing a seat belt won’t keep you from crashing your car.
The point is that we must rely on God. We too often fail to take hold of the security we have in God. We hope He is caring for us. We think He might be working in our circumstances, but fail to take hold of that surety. We are not sure we have been as faithful as we should have been. We may have missed His cue and turned the wrong way. Keep up the faith guys…
Lemme remind you that God is love and He cares for us. He has said He is there, working ALL things together for our good – that is a fact. Amen.
